Healthy habits are vital for our continued wellbeing. A regular exercise routine can help us achieve and maintain our fitness goals while increasing the quality of our lives. And with EMS training at Feel Electric it’s simply easier to create a real habit. Committing to 20 minutes a week of low impact training compares pretty favourably to the 3 or 4 times a week that gyms typically demand of their members. But sometimes our busy lives mean that it’s not straight forward to build a habit. That’s why we’ve come up with some five tips to ensure EMS sessions are always on your schedule.
Here are 5 Ways to Make EMS Training a Habit.
If just one 20-minute EMS session a week at Feel Electric studios equals a 2-hour HIIT session, what are you waiting for? There’s only one way to feel the true power of EMS training and that’s to try it for yourself! Book a Free EMS Trial Online to Tone, Firm and Lose Weight with EMS Training.
We can all set targets for our fitness or for the weight that we want to lose. But if you want to build an EMS training habit and achieve the results you desire then you need goals that truly motivate you. Really consider what you want to achieve during your EMS training journey. Set specific and measurable goals that also mean something emotionally to you. Decide you want to tone up but also think about why you want to do that. Is it for health reasons? Do you want to feel more body confident? Sit down with our supportive EMS trainers and work out what your individual goals are but also why they’re important to you.
At Feel Electric we believe that exercise should fit easily into your routine to make it easier for you to create a healthy habit. Having a well-defined routine is key to ensure that you exercise consistently. Our EMS sessions only last 20 minutes so everyone can find the time, even during the busiest week, to train. But if you book in for the same time slot every week you make EMS training something you’ll find hard to miss. Knowing that Monday morning at 11am is always EMS time means your body will anticipate the training and your mind will look forward to those endorphins. EMS training will be one habit you won’t want to miss!
You can use all types of motivational tools to make training a habit but this is one of the simplest. Pack your bag for your EMS session the night before so you’re prepped and ready to go the next day. Whether you’re a morning person or not, why waste time thinking about what you need for your EMS training when you can just pick your bag up and go. Even better EMS training doesn’t require a big bag unlike all the gear you need to work out in a gym. Having your bag packed the night before puts you a step ahead in building an EMS training habit.
Feeling that you’re making progress can be important when you want to create a new habit. With EMS sessions at Feel Electric you can always track your progress. You see exactly how your body is responding to the EMS training via the health summary on your Feel Electric account. And following your progress is important; it makes it more likely that you’ll reach or even surpass your goals. Tracking your progress makes you accountable to both yourself and your targets so you’re motivated to keep working out and keep EMS training a habit.
Building a habit is easier when you share the load. With Feel Electric our supportive personal trainers are always there to help you set up an EMS routine. In our studio environment our PTs work closely with you to create individual targets that you and your body can sustain. Our EMS personal trainers will also be on hand to answer your questions, to motivate you and to give you expert advice when you need it. You never have to feel you’re trying to build your EMS training habit on your own when you have the personal support of Feel Electric trainers.
Maddie, “I’ve tried all forms of training but the best that worked for me and got me moving is EMS training! I hate gyms, it’s evil. But that’s me.”
At Feel Electric we want you to feel that EMS training can always be a part of your routine. It’s only 20 minutes a week of low impact exercise so it’s stress-free and easy to fit into the busiest schedule. But what makes it an effective habit it that EMS training is highly efficient, activating over 90% of your muscles and helping you burn 500 calories in each session. Those are fitness results that everyone can build a training routine on. Why not try it for yourself and sign up to a free trial session at Feel Electric clinics today. Just one word of warning. If you try EMS training once, it may quickly become an unbreakable habit!
