  • 2 slices Whole-grain bread
  • 2 oz Mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 1 medium Tomato
  • 1 tbsp Balsamic glaze
  • 1 tbsp Fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  1. Lay the slices of bread on a clean surface.
  2. Layer the fresh mozzarella cheese and tomato slices on one slice of bread.
  3. Drizzle balsamic glaze over the tomato slices and add fresh basil leaves on top.
  4. Place the other slice of bread on top to form a sandwich.
  5. In a skillet or griddle, heat the olive oil or butter over medium heat.
  6. Add the sandwich to the skillet and cook until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  7. Remove from the heat and let cool slightly before serving.
